The Decorating Plan

The Decorating Plan is developed after an initial consultation in your home, be it current or under construction. All ideas and suggestions are typed in a concise document that can be used as a reference.

The basic color palette and furniture style is established. Each room is described with:

• Concept (what you want to achieve)
• Strategy (how we are going to get there)

A numbered to do list of steps follows for each room. It is not carved in stone; sometimes you and Eileen agree to change ideas. You may also be given sample pictures, fabric swatches, a Budget versus Actual Expense Tracker or a sketch of proposed windows and window treatments. You have the distinct pleasure of crossing off tasks as they are completed. It's exciting to watch the Plan take shape!numbered to do list

Installation / Implementation Assistance
Motif! can arrange for installation services with a wide range of options. If you're not a "Do-It-Yourselfer" Eileen has a great network of professionals to help with:

Shopping

Eileen is a 'natural born shopper' so she's amazed that many clients hate to shop. Perhaps some are overwhelmed by the myraid of choices out there. Others can narrow down their choices, but feel the need to have a design professional render a second opinion before they buy, particularly with items like custom upholstery, which are usually not returnable. Some clients just don't have the time to shop; they would rather hire Eileen to do the legwork and 'surprise' them with her choices.

When you shop with "Eileen the Shopping Queen", you're with a pro. Once a need is determined, Motif! knows where to get it. Eileen is registered at workrooms that are exclusive to the trade. Come along and see where the Designers shop! It's fun and it's "quality time" as far as she's concerned. But if you'd rather have Eileen go alone on the hunt for that special piece of artwork or whatever, it will be her pleasure and such a surprise for you when you come home from work!

Eileen can get window blinds, shutters, flooring, etc at wholesale cost, and because of low overhead, she can pass the savings on to you. Whatever your home decor shopping needs, contracting with Motif for this service will give you peace of mind and ultimately, long-term satisfaction with your investment.
