I am a 'natural born shopper', and I am amazed that many of my clients hate to shop.  Perhaps it's because many people are overwhelmed by the myriad choices when shopping for home decor. 

Some clients can narrow down their choices, but feel the need to have a design professional render a second opinion before they buy, particularly with items like custom upholstery, which are usually not returnable.  And some clients just don't have the time to shop; they would rather hire me to do the legwork and 'surprise' them with my choices.
